Western Christian had already won 13 in a row and they went ahead and made it 14 on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Los Osos Grizzlies. For the Fighting Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Western Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-11, 26-24, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Carter Doolittle and Jacob Roberts, who picked up 18 kills apiece. They got some help from Mack Kurth and his 46 assists. Finally, Michael Mapes kept Western Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Western Christian's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Los Osos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Western Christian will take on Bishop Amat at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Los Osos, they will face off against Rancho Cucamonga at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
