Whites Creek skates past Stratford with ease

Recap: Whites Creek Cobras vs. Stratford Spartans

In what's become a running theme this season, the Whites Creek Cobras gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 88-30 victory over Stratford at home. Whites Creek's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whites Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyrone Robertson, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Micheal Palmer, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five blocks.

The win (which was Whites Creek's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-11 Stratford and 0-8 Stratford (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 19.2% over those games). As for Stratford, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

Whites Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stratford, they will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
