Kahuku had won six straight games and Mystique Akina-Watson did his part to make it seven on Tuesday. Everything went the Kahuku Red Raiders' way against the Kalani Falcons as the Kahuku Red Raiders made off with a 60-37 victory thanks in part to Akina-Watson, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Another player making a difference was Rivers Evans, who posted four points and seven rebounds. He also put up two blocks, which werehis first of the season.

Kahuku's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Kalani, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
