Football Recap: Jenison Comes Up Short

Jenison lost against East Kentwood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Falcons, falling 54-7. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jenison fell to 2-1. As for East Kentwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jenison will challenge rival Grand Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Kentwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Rockford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
