Basketball Recap: Michigan School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Michigan School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 36-15 to the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings.

Michigan School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Akron-Fairgrove, they moved to 1-1 with that victory, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Michigan School for the Deaf will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on More Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025. Akron-Fairgrove will take on Mayville in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Akron-Fairgrove is facing Mayville at the right time seeing as Mayville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
