Basketball Recap: Lauderdale County Comes Up Short

Lauderdale County lost against Colbert County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lauderdale County Tigers took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colbert County Indians. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauderdale County now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Colbert County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lauderdale County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colbert County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rogers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Colbert County surely won't give up without a fight.
