Baseball Recap: Canyon Hills Takes a Loss

Canyon Hills lost against Morse back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rattlers came up short against the Tigers, falling 17-2. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon Hills saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josue Flores, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Canyon Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Morse, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9-1.

Looking ahead, Canyon Hills will host Orange Glen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rattlers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Morse, they will welcome Castle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
