Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Burley's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

Burley was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Blackfoot Broncos 4-2.

Burley has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Blackfoot, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-6.
