Lindsay waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Alvord Bulldogs. Considering the Knights have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lindsay now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Alvord, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lindsay will face off against Era at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.21 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Alvord, they are taking a road trip to square off against Nocona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.7 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
