Baseball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Takes a Loss

Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost against South back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves came up short against the Spartans, falling 11-2. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly nine runs.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci got a good showing from David Holliday, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Holliday hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in March.

At the plate, Wiseburn- Da Vinci saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Mara, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Wiseburn- Da Vinci and nudges their season record down to 15-8. As for South, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

While Wiseburn- Da Vinci had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
