Baseball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pocatello, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Diamondbacks fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Diamondbacks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Century saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Anderson, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Pocatello, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pocatello, they will take on Preston at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
