Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Southmont Mounties.

University's offense was headlined by Quinlan Litke and Kallie Tarvin, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Nyla Blanding and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southmont, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, University will face off against Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southmont has already played their next matchup (against North Putnam), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
