Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Abes vs. Silas Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakes, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Silas Rams , sneaking past 3-2. The Abes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-105) Lincoln actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 27-25, 20-25, 15-12.
Despite the loss, Silas still got an impressive performance from Samantha Caron, who had 25 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Caron has posted since back in October.
Lincoln's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. As for Silas, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
As of now, neither Lincoln nor Silas have any future games scheduled.
