Softball Recap: Sequatchie County Comes Up Short

Sequatchie County was the 9-1 winner over Franklin County when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Hannah Milligan made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Emmy Edgmon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Sequatchie County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Franklin County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Coincidentally, Sequatchie County and Franklin County will both be playing Marion County the next time they take the field. The Rebels will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
