Preview: Carrollton vs. Woodland
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Carrollton. On Friday they take on Woodland at 7:30 PM. Carrollton doesn't have home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Last Friday, Carrollton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took their game against Cass by a conclusive 41-7 score. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (35) and coasted on those for the victory.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Woodland lost to Rome, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 7-48. Woodland was in a tough position by the half with the score sitting at 7-42.
Carrollton were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Woodland 41-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carrollton since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
