It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but West Genesee ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets, sneaking past 65-62. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-59 back in January.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-9. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

West Genesee will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fayetteville-Manlius: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
