Soccer Game Preview: Union County vs. Scott

Union County is 0-3 against Scott since May of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Patriots will head out to face off against the Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. The matchup will give Union County their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Union County lost 4-1 to Northview Academy on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Scott, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They beat Clinton by a goal, winning 2-1. The win continues a trend for Scott in their matchups with Clinton: they've now won three in a row.

Scott's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Union County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Union County suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Scott when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
