There's no place like home for Bishop Shanahan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Henderson Warriors by a score of 9-6 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 back in April.

Griff Ceribelli and Brett Barber did most of the damage at the plate: Ceribelli went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Barber went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most runs Ceribelli has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Chase Riccardo, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Bishop Shanahan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Henderson struck out eight times.

Bishop Shanahan's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9. As for Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Shanahan will take on Malvern Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Henderson, they will square off against Coatesville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.8, the Red Raiders 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
