            Football Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. Tipton Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wabash can now relate to. They were beaten by the Tipton Blue Devils 48-13 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 36  points in the game before, the Apaches couldn't push the score so high this time.
  Davon Osborn and  Haiden McWhirt certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Osborn picked up 141 receiving yards and one  score, while  McWhirt threw for 163 yards and one  touchdown. Osborn really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 87 yards.
 Tipton got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Zane I. Durham out in front who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of  TDs. Those  86  rushing yards gave  I. Durham a new career-high.  Quinn Tolle was another key player, having thrown for 268 yards and two touchdowns.
Wabash's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Tipton, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season.
 Wabash does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tipton, they will challenge Eastern at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Comets' defense has only allowed 14.7  points per game  this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
