Football Game Preview: Foothill Falcons vs. Livermore Cowboys + Official Tickets

The Foothill Falcons will face off against the Livermore Cowboys at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Foothill is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Dublin on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons took a blow against the Gaels, falling 52-7. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-0.

Amaree Hill put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 66 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Meanwhile, Livermore's offense rose to the challenge against an Eagles defense that boasted an average of only 10.63 points allowed last Friday. The Cowboys blew past Redwood Christian 31-7. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

The critical scores for Livermore came from CT Harper, Matteo Lortie, Shane Patterson, and AJ Carey.

The win made it two in a row for Livermore and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for Foothill, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Foothill lost to Livermore at home by a decisive 31-14 margin when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Kamarri Robinson (who rushed for 189 yards and one score while picking up 11.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
