Basketball Recap: Center Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

While Center didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Rocky Ford Meloneers on Saturday as the Center Vikings made off with a 58-37 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Center's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for Rocky Ford, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will square off against South Park at 4:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Rocky Ford, they will host Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
