Volleyball Recap: Stuart Takes a Loss

If Stuart was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Santee on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos came up short against the St. Mary's Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Broncos have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.

Klaire Ramm paced Stuart's offense, picking up nine kills. Ramm got some help from Kyra Tubbs and her 14 assists. Finally, Kemberlyn Kohle kept Stuart's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Stuart's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for St. Mary's, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-7.

Stuart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Garden County on the 1st.
