Basketball Recap: Dekalb Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

It was a proper cat-fight when DeKalb duked it out withPolo on Tuesday. The DeKalb Tigers walked away with a 37-27 win over the Polo Panthers. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 55-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

DeKalb is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Polo, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

DeKalb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-33 victory against Pattonsburg on the 15th. As for Polo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wellington-Napoleon at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
