Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Memphis East). They claimed a resounding 84-25 victory over the Kingsbury Falcons. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amiyah Spencer, who posted six points along with seven assists and five boards. Spencer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jamaya Gatewood, who earned 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Memphis East smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Kingsbury had strong showings from Antriana Welch, who had 12 points, and Maleah Ward, who scored ten points. Those 12 points gave Welch a new career-high.

Memphis East's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Kingsbury, they dropped their record down to 9-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Memphis East nor Kingsbury have any future games scheduled.
