Volleyball Recap: North Johnston Takes a Loss

The North Johnston Panthers came up short against the Fike Golden Demons on Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Demons 25-17 in the first set.

North Johnston started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

North Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fike, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, North Johnston will face off against Beddingfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fike, they will challenge Wake Prep Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
