Baseball Recap: Middle College Comes Up Short

Middle College lost against Bradford back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 12-2 to the Red Devils. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Middle College saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Herring, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. Herring is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last six games he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Middle College and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Bradford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-12.

While Middle College had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
