Soccer Recap: Crowley Comes Up Short

Crowley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lake Ridge Eagles, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Crowley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 441st, while Lake Ridge is ranked 59th).

Crowley's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-3. As for Lake Ridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

Crowley will face off against Mansfield Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Ridge, they will square off against Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weatherford will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Lake Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
