Basketball Recap: Northeast Academy Eagles vs. Ridgecroft Rams
There's no place like home for Northeast Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-56 win over the Ridgecroft Rams on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Leading Northeast Academy to victory were Arland Davis and Hayes Hatcher. Davis dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Hatcher dropped a double-double on 24 points and 21 boards. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jessa Pope, who posted eight points and six rebounds.
