Brady Neal put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Haskell is 5-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-6 otherwise.

Neal's strong effort led Haskell over Porter and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Haymakers are 8-2 against the Pirates going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
