Basketball Recap: Northwest Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Northwest ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the New Miami Vikings by a score of 39-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

The victory made it two in a row for Northwest and bumps their season record up to 5-13. As for New Miami, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northwest will head out to face off against Bethel-Tate at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Miami, they will venture away from home to challenge Lockland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
