Soccer Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Takes a Loss

Morristown-Hamblen West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Sevier County Smoky Bears, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Morristown-Hamblen West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Sevier County are ranked 27th).

Morristown-Hamblen West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Sevier County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown-Hamblen West will challenge Fulton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sevier County, they will be playing at home against Morristown-Hamblen East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
