Volleyball Recap: Brainerd Warriors vs. St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders
Brainerd and St. Croix Lutheran met for a duel on Saturday where Brainerd couldn't get it done. The Brainerd Warriors fell just short of the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 2-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 6-17-2. As for St. Croix Lutheran, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mankato East the next time they take the court. St. Croix Lutheran will head out to face Mankato East at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Brainerd will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
