Football Recap: Ralston Valley's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ralston Valley extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ashlyn Callahan. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Horizon Hawks on Saturday as they made off with a 33-7 win thanks in part to Callahan, who picked up 210 receiving yards and four TDs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 115.2 receiving yards per game.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ralston Valley's defense and their six sacks. Leading the way was Bailee Cummins with four. Ava Colledge got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Ralston Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Horizon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ralston Valley will square off against Chatfield at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Horizon, they will take on Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
