Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corcoran Panthers. If the Cowboys were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Avenal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corcoran, they will square off against Fowler at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
