After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Living Word Lutheran, St. Mary's Springs was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the North Fond du Lac Orioles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Ledgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Mary's Springs not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Fond du Lac between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Rylee Gilgenbach paced St. Mary's Springs' offense, picking up 16 kills. Gilgenbach got some help from Ally Vercauteren and her 23 assists. Gilgenbach was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

St. Mary's Springs' victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for North Fond du Lac, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
