Baseball Recap: Oak Grove Takes a Loss

Oak Grove was the 3-1 winner over Lexington when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 5-2 to the Minutemen on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Oak Grove and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Lexington, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-17.

Coming up, Oak Grove will square off against Richmond at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will challenge Trenton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
