Davie had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Glenn Bobcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-1 win on Thursday.

Davie got a great performance from Colin Harrison as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Harrison has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Coy James, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. Hunter Potts was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Davie hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.

Davie pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Glenn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Looking ahead, Davie will square off against West Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the War Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
