Linden hadn't beaten Fenton on the road since May 15, 2025 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Eagles skirted past the Tigers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 24, 2025.

Tessa Zilisch (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Linden's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lily Guntharp (2026), who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Linden's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Fenton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Linden wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Brandon on the 21st. As for Fenton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Corunna on the 22nd.
