Giles has gone 7-1-1 against Galax recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will look to defend their home pitch against the Maroon Tide at 5:30 p.m. Galax took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Giles, who comes in off a win.

Giles took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against George Wythe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Spartans won by a goal and slipped past the Maroons 2-1.

Kerrigan Mitcham was the driving force of Giles' attack as she scored both of Giles' goals, bringing her season total up to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Galax has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 8-0 to George Wythe on Tuesday.

Giles' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Galax, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Giles took their win against Galax in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Maroon Tide have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
