Crismon came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Gunnison Cowboys. The Rattlers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last five games.

Aaron Sanchez looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aaden Lopez, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Crismon is undefeated when Lopez posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Easton Wilsford was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

Crismon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matches.

Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Gunnison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Crismon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Forest Grove on the 22nd. As for Gunnison, they have also already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Valley Vista on the 22nd.
