Volleyball Recap: Epping Comes Up Short

Epping came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Trinity Pioneers, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Epping's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

While Epping had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
