Softball Recap: Paul W. Bryant Comes Up Short at Home Against Pickens County

Paul W. Bryant unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Pickens County Tornadoes on Wednesday, falling 11-5. If the Stampede were looking for revenge after losing 13-9 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win made it two in a row for Pickens County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pickens County beat Paul W. Bryant by a score of 11-6 later that day.
