Baseball Recap: Janesville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Janesville got themselves on the board against Riceville on Friday, but Riceville never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Riceville. Winning may never get old, but Janesville sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Janesville pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Riceville, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Janesville will face off against Clarksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Riceville has already played their next game (against Waukon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
