Soccer Recap: Alvarado Takes a Loss

Alvarado lost against Venus back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Alvarado Indians came up short against the Venus Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 12 in a row.

Alvarado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Venus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

Alvarado will venture away from home to face off against Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alvarado is facing Ferris at the right time seeing as Ferris is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Venus, they will welcome Life Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Life Waxahachie will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something Venus surely won't give up without a fight.
