Elkin won the last time they faced Forbush and things went their way on Monday too. The Buckin' Elks strolled past the Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 75-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buckin' Elks.

Charlie Pelkey was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 63% from the field en route to 27 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Lorne Edwards, who went 5-for-6 to rack up 11 points and six steals.

When it comes to explaining why Forbush lost, don't look at Mason Dudley. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Matthew Bryant was another key player, shooting 60% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Elkin's record now sits at 2-0. As for Forbush, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
