Football Recap: Zarephath Academy Comes Up Short

Zarephath Academy managed to keep up with Santa Fe until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles took a blow against the Raiders, falling 55-14. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Jasiah Powell had a dynamite game For Santa Fe., rushing for 147 yards and two scores. Malcolm Merriex made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Zarephath Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Zarephath Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 44-6 victory against P.K. Yonge on the 5th. As for Santa Fe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-0 win against Harvest Community on the 5th.
