Volleyball Recap: Trenton Decker Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Indianapolis Washington

Irvington Preparatory Academy got the win against the Indianapolis Washington Continentals on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Irvington Preparatory Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-12.

Irvington Preparatory Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trenton Decker, who had four digs and four aces. What's more, Decker posted two kills, the most he's had over his last five matches. Another player making a difference was Jason Norton, who had six aces and one block.

They weren't the only good server: Irvington Preparatory Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 29 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.

Irvington Preparatory Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Indianapolis Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
