Geoffrey Creighton Lefevre's Big Game Leads Vela over Juarez-Lincoln
Geoffrey Creighton Lefevre's big game helped extend Vela's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Creighton Lefevre as he threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Vela pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Creighton Lefevre and Vela will take on Rowe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Vela Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jonathan Flores
Jonathan Flores's big game helped extend Vela's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Flores as he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Juarez-Lincoln, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Flores. Flores rushed for 244 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Botello Posts Huge Game in 27-7 Victory
Adrian Botello was instrumental in extending Rowe's winning streak to three on Friday. Rio Grande City had no answer to Botello as he threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards.
On the season, Botello has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 105 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

Kane Coy Makes It Two for Mcallen Memorial
