Basketball Recap: Joshua Ajayi's Big Game Can't Quite Lead King over El Dorado + How To Watch

King lost against El Dorado back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves took a 75-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joshua Ajayi, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. Ajayi is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 19 every time he's taken the court this season. Mark Cadena was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for El Dorado, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, King will face off against Orange Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' defense better be ready for this one: the Coyotes have averaged an impressive 71.8 points per game this season. As for El Dorado, they will take on Muir at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
