Volleyball Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss

Monte Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2015.

Monte Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for St. Joseph Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-15.

Monte Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bonsall on the 4th. As for St. Joseph Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Del Lago Academy on the 4th.
